Bull Duck and Rapid-fire Japanese

Well, todays been pretty much the same as yesterday. I met Aki ( nami`s sister) yesterday evening. She was real welcoming although we were both a bit shy. But it wasnt long until she burst into our room bone thugging japanese for about 10 mins. OUt of the whole conversation i comprehended four things.
1) Aki went out with her boyfriend for breakfast
2) they ate dougnuts and coffee
3) there was a problem at the counter
4) real strange. . .
Nami then translated the rest of the story later on. In summary the story was about aki and her boyfriend getting charged the wrong amount, aki enquiring about the price and then got her head torn off by the cashier.. . Then she vented to her boyfriend who replied * it was lucky you went up there, because if i did we would have started arguing* . . . . finish. . . OKASHII!!!!
( i swear you had to have seen Aki`s explaining. She was so animated u would have thought something real BIG had happened =P )

I havent quite gotten use to the whole blogging thing in which bloggers carry a camera and snap photos of every little thing only to bring it up on here. But i`m determined to learn (and make use of this camera that my sister kindly lent me). So here goes my first baby steps. . .

This is the walkway that gets me from our house to the trainstation. Its a bridge for the trains but works as a carpark and pee spot for dogs. Approx walking time: 7 mins (two songs)

THE BOX
Our House! Those stairs lead up to our main door. We (aki, nami and I) occupy the 2nd level while a family occupies the bottom. Approx size : 8m by 5m. Mansion huh!
Hell`s Kitchen
This is where all the instant noodle magic happens. Yup thats it. Btw in order to take this photo i had to stand inside the bathroom. I would take photos of everything else but the bathroom and nami`s room are so small that even if i zoom out to the max i cant capture the room. Our living room is Aki`s bedroom which consists of a little (weak) stereo and a 14inch tv. THe sofa is her bed. Seeing as she isnt home i was unable to ask permission to take a photo. Gome-n ne!

Oh yeah, tonite we ate at a resturant called *Za Watami*. MOre of a japanese style pub than a resturant where you have u own little booths and press a little buzzer which in turn brings a waiter to your table.

This was the stand out dish. Its grilled *bull duck* with melted cheese. It was served sizzling. While it did have a strong smell i.e our clothes reeked and we had to shower. The dish was scrumcious.

The other dishes were nice, but looked pretty ordinary. i.e Salad, fried rice, satay (kinda) sticks.

Well thats about all, feeling full and sleepy. It rained today which was nice, it cooled down the temp for a bit. Yay yay. aiite peace yall...
