Aki left today!!.. Shes headed off to Vietnam with her boyfriend for 7 days. She was real on edge about the whole thing, for several reasons like; she had no contacts there, cant speak the language or english, hasnt flowen in 10 years, no accomodation etc.. But yeah she looked excited as we wished her well at 10am.
Other than that its been a pretty normal day. The usual at home, found some old He-man and Inspector gadget cartoons which brought back alot of memories. Also stumbled across strawberry shortcakes, my little pony, She-ra and samurai pizza cats... I would be bored outta my brains without youtube.. Then again my Japanese would probally have improved too.. OH well cant win em all..
So yeah Nami texted me at 9.20 to meet her at Asagaya station at 9.55pm, i had just put on the washing and knew it was going to be a bit of a mission hanging out all the clothes in the designated time. But i got it done, power walked/jumped to the trainstation and arrived bang on time. Thing is.... Nami didnt... She was 45 mins late and due to my lack of understanding (or prehaps my headphones) i didnt hear the announcement that their had been a `person accident` at one of the trainstation which caused massive delays along our lines. THe company do all sorts of remedies from handing out vouchers for customers to use cabs, to handing out tickets to be used on other train lines. (The train company recovers their costs from the person who caused the accident or their family).. hmmmm
After all the explaining we then spent a further 10 mins discussing where we were going to eat. We setteled on Nakau. Both eating curry and sharing some udon. I had a beer too (reward for the long wait).. Headed home, looked at magazines at 7/11, brought some ice cream and skipped home. We`ve just been relaxing as Nami has another day off tomorrow (man we really on a good run here) so yeah. I`m going to go sit with her in the other room and try and watch some japanese tv..
